Easy Sometimes you just want something easy and fresh for breakfast. I love the combination of cubed cantaloupe and sliced bananas. You get the fresh, cool moisture from the cantaloupe and the natural creaminess and sweetness of the banana. You could blend up a smoothie, but if you don’t want to take that much time (or wash the container!), why not just take out a bowl and do a little slicing for an easy vegan breakfast?
A single serving size should include one cup of cantaloupe with one small banana.
Selecting Your Fruit
Take a look at my picture… see how the cantaloupe glistens? I can almost smell it! That means it’s ripe and will be loaded with flavor. That’s true of the bananas, also. You can see they have ripened past the hard stage and are now a little soft.
